No. A Wandrz tour opens straight in your phone’s browser. Visitors scan a QR code or follow a link, choose their language and start. No download, no account, no updates.
In more than thirty languages, including Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Turkish, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese. You choose which languages you offer and you can always add one later.
If your texts are ready, a first version is live within hours. The lead time usually sits in writing and proofreading the texts, not in the technology.
Yes, and that is the point. You edit texts, add objects or switch a stop off temporarily. When you change a text, the audio is regenerated automatically in every language. You do not need us for that.
You do. Your texts, photos and recordings remain your property. If you stop using Wandrz, you get your content back in a usable format.
Visitors do not need an account and we build no profiles. We measure anonymously how often fragments are played and in which language. For customers we sign a data processing agreement and the data is stored within the European Union.
That is what the tour is designed for: large buttons, clear contrast, proper headings for screen readers and a calm voice. For partially sighted visitors and people with low literacy, audio is often the most accessible format there is.
Most organisations reuse texts they already have, for example from signs or a brochure. If you get stuck, we will think along about structure and length, or put you in touch with a copywriter.
Indoors, GPS is too imprecise to start a fragment in the right gallery. Inside you use QR codes at objects, short numbers that visitors type in, or NFC tags. You can combine both within a single tour.
Yes. You supply your logo, colours and typefaces and Wandrz applies them across the whole tour. The tour also runs on your own (sub)domain, so visitors see your brand rather than ours.
They place emphasis and hold pauses, so you can listen for half an hour without it grating. During a demo we play you fragments in different languages so you can judge for yourself.
A connection is needed at the start. After that the tour preloads the next fragments, so a weak signal along the way is usually not a problem. For areas with poor coverage we recommend a QR code at the starting point, where reception is still good.
Yes. You can see how many visitors start the tour, which languages they choose, how far they get and which stops are played most. Useful for improving the tour or reporting back to a funder.
Certainly. You paste in texts, and you can upload your own audio recordings to use instead of or alongside an AI voice. Photos and video can be added per object too.
You choose how you pay. With a monthly subscription you pay a fixed fee each month, on request. Your costs stay the same however many visitors your tour draws. With pay-per-use there is no fixed monthly fee: the visitor price is agreed together and quoted on request, and we keep a share of every tour sold. Both models include one one-off onboarding in which we set up your first tour together.
Only the way you pay. Either way you get the same platform: 70+ languages, your own branding, no app and live within hours. With a monthly subscription you know the cost up front and keep what your tours earn. With pay-per-use you pay nothing up front and we keep a share of every tour sold, so we only earn when you earn.
Yes, in consultation with us. If you sell more than expected, or less, we move you across to the other model together. We agree up front when the change takes effect.
On request. We agree the visitor price together, matched to your site, your audience and what your visitors are used to. We advise you on it based on comparable sites and we set the arrangement out with you up front. Would you like to change the price later, for a campaign, a school group or a combined ticket? Then we go through it together again. That holds in both models, as soon as you sell tours.
That is your choice. Wandrz can run the entire payment flow for you through European, sovereign payment infrastructure, so without any dependence on American payment platforms. In that case there is nothing for you to set up: visitors check out in the browser and we keep the books. Would you rather use your own POS, ticketing or payment system? Then we connect Wandrz to it and the sale runs through your system.
Yes. If you already work with a POS, a ticketing system or your own payment provider, we connect Wandrz to it. The sale then runs through the system you already know and the tour is unlocked after payment. That works in both models.
This applies to pay-per-use. Your dashboard shows per sale what your tour earns, by tour and by language. If we handle the payments, we transfer your share to your account periodically with a statement. If the sale runs through your own system, the money reaches you directly and we invoice our share. With a monthly subscription there is no share per sale and you get one fixed invoice per month. We agree the details with you up front.
We set up your first tour together: configure the branding, build the structure, load the first texts and languages, prepare the sale and the QR code, and get your colleagues up to speed. That is a one-off fee and it belongs to both models. After that you can carry on independently.
Then there is little to sell and the monthly subscription is usually the obvious choice: a fixed fee each month and every feature. If you do sell tours anyway, to groups for instance, or to visitors who buy the audio tour separately, pay-per-use works too.
If you sell tours, we handle that together with you. You decide when a refund is reasonable, for example after a technical problem or a double purchase. We process the refund and correct it in your statement.
